Does nTop support multiprocessing?

Question:

Does nTop support multiprocessing?

Applies to:

  • ntopcl.exe
  • nTop
  • Windows 10

Answer:

nTop supports multiple processors, but the software isn't optimized to utilize multiprocessing technology fully. CPU core count and speed impact nTop performance the most, and we notice some performance consequences with multiple processors. The single-socket Xeon-W processors usually outperform Dual Xeon configurations.
