Issue:

I've created a curve and want to extrude it using the Extrude Profile block but the block doesn't accept the input.

Cause:

Curves are unable to be extruded in the Extrude Profile block. 

Solution:

If you want to extrude curves or arcs, it's best to do it in CAD software since the Extrude Profile block doesn't accept curves. nTop works best when used along with your preferred CAD software.

If you want to use the Extrude Profile block:

• • Use a Polygon as the profile from the Polygon block
  • Use Section Body to cut through a part and take out the Polygon property chip to use as your profile
