Issue:

• Unable to open nTop files by double-clicking icons.
• Selecting open from the right-click menu fails to open files.
• File > Open successfully opens files.

Applies to:

• nTop 2.22.7
• Windows 10

Cause:

This issue is the result of corrupt or missing operating system files.

Solution:

Update the Windows 10 system files.

1. From the desktop, select Start > Settings > Windows Update 
2. Download and install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015, 2017, and 2019. 
3. Download and install Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8.
