Answer:
nTop is a desktop application and stores project data locally. The application connects to cloud services for software delivery, software updates, license authentication, account management, and analytics. You may run nTop without an internet connection for 10 days before being prompted to connect to the internet again.
Local licenses do not require an internet connection, but they still need to log on to the nTop User Dashboard for licensing and software delivery. Educational users are not eligible to receive a local license.
