CSV import error: Could not find Output Object

Issue:

When trying to import a CSV file, this error pops up: Error: Could not find output object.

Applies to:

  • Import Point Map

Cause:

The CSV file encoding is the wrong type.

Solution:

All CSVs need to be encoded with UTF-8. This setting can be changed in programs such as Notepad++ or Excel.

    I followed this step using notepad++ but still getting the same error, is there any other method to resolve this?

    Do you have any extra commas or other delimiters in your csv? Is it formatted correctly?

    Had extra commas at the end, It was a lengthy file so didn't check the end. thanks for the reply
