nTop 4.23 is here! This release features new overloads for the Evaluate Field and Evaluate Field Gradient blocks and some minor bug fixes. As with every release, nTop’s dedicated support team is ready to answer your questions. Please visit support.ntop.com to gain access to helpful tutorials and support articles.
Block Updates
- We added overloads for the Evaluate Field and Evaluate Field Gradient blocks to allow for a Point List input instead of a single point. Using the Point List overload, the block can now utilize multithreading for evaluating multiple points instead of list processing. The multithreading evaluation speed should be significantly faster in most cases than previously used list processing.
Bug Fixes
- We fixed an issue with the Static Analysis block that caused nTop to apply initial temperatures incorrectly during structural thermal analysis.
- We fixed an issue with the Export FE Mesh to CFD block that caused nTop to export duplicate meshes when exporting as an *.STL.
- We fixed an issue with the Import CFD Analysis Result block that caused nTop to exit unexpectedly when importing velocities with scalar values instead of vector values.
- We fixed an issue with the Topology Optimization block that caused nTop to display natural frequencies in the convergence graphs with incorrect units.
- We fixed an issue with the FE Volume Mesh from CAD block that caused nTop to require re-running the block upon opening a file from a previous version.
- We fixed an issue where the implicit view for unit cells would not update when changing the resolution.
