Usage Improvements
Reposition Slice Stack for Export
- The translate block has been updated to accept Slice Stack objects as inputs.
- This feature has been added to enable users to correctly import their slice stacks into the print prep tool of their choice.
Rotate Slice Stack about the Z-Axis for Export
- The Rotate Object block has been updated to accept Slice Stack objects as inputs.
- If you attempt to rotate the Slick Stack in any axis other than the Z, the block will throw an error message.
- This feature has been added to enable users to correctly import their slice stacks into the print prep tool of their choice.
Simulation Color Maps
- We’ve introduced 3 new colors maps in our simulation result HUD so that simulation engineers have more perceptional consistent gradients to avoid misinterpreting results.
- The 3 new maps are: Turbo, Magma, and Viridis (see image below):
Usage Improvements
- The keyboard shortcut for Make Variable has been updated to Ctrl + M.
- nTop Platform now supports the export of distributed loads on edges for Beam, Shell, and Solid elements.
- The Evaluate Expression block has been deprecated. The Evaluate Expression block will open in older files and can still be searched for in the search bar of the notebook.
- Isotropic Elastic has been updated to Isotropic Linear Elastic.
